Hi. My Name is Floyd. I’m a Dumpster.

Before I begin, please offer a moment of silence to give thanks to EonCoat, Priority Waste Inc., the EonCoat blog community and trash/waste for making all this possible.

….  My name is Floyd. I was a 20 cubic yard steel construction dumpster orphan without a name until the generous folks at EonCoat found, adopted and named me. As you can see, I’ve been through a lot of hard times, carried a lot of tough trash and am worn down from the hard life of a dumpster orphan.

Now that I have a place to call home – my real adventure can start.

EonCoat plans to pressure wash me, spray me with EonCoat and allow me to travel around the state of North Carolina to various construction sites to “strut my stuff.” Most 22’ foot dumpsters like myself cost people in the waste industry around $4,000 brand new and after a few years they all  become rusted old orphans like me. If they are lucky enough to get adopted, then their new owners have to pay around $500 for paint and labor just to make them look OK again. Then a few years pass and the process starts all over again.

I’m here to show the world, the trash and waste industry that there is a better way. After I get my new EonCoat shine, I’m going to visit construction sites, send postcards to you via the blog and tell you about my travels, trials and tribulations. I think I’ll call it “The Travels of Floyd!”

I’ll let you know how my travels are going, if my new paint job is putting a hurting on some trash and where I get to visit along the way. It’s been a cold winter, and we have a few more months to go, so I can’t wait to get my fresh coat!

I hope you enjoy this journey as much as I will – from getting my new coat to traveling the state. Feel free to ask me any questions along the way – from “how does EonCoat work” to “do you have a girlfriend?”

I look forward to meeting each and every one of you on this journey.

To infinity and beyond!!

Sincerely, Floyd
